oil pressure too high?
this is the first time i have ever coem accross a problem of too high oil pressure. 100% internally stock JDM d15b. when i start it cold its like 105psi. that didnt concern me too much cause i know oil pressure is high when cold. but then it warmed up and is like 50psi at idle and when i bring it up anything over idle it shoots up to 90-95psi. needless to say, i know why i have been through 3 turbos on this engine. so, now to my questions
1. do i need to be worried about this?
b. is an oil restrictor going to be enough for this much pressure?
3. should i maybe swap regulator springs from a z6 or something?
its nice to know i have good oil pressure after running my engine up to 8k or so a few times, but i am worried about my freshly rebuilt turbo that i just spent $650 on getting ruined. luckily i found this before the turbo came back from rebuild cause i would have just slapped it on and run it.

yea, the d15b has mad jdm VTACKCKCKC YO! so oil pressure that high is normal in JDM enignes. now what about the oil restrictor? its just a fitting with a .065" hole in it. is that going to be good enough to save my turbo when it comes back? i had the restrictor on this turbo before i sent it out, but i think it was already too late. i ran it for a little while without the restrictor, then it started smoking and i put the restrictor in and it still smoked. it had some shaft play too so it was time for a rebuild anyway.
