adjusting for cams in TE

Default adjusting for cams in TE

well i think i figured out why my crx keeps dying after boost...i thinks its because of my stage 2 cams and the off boost idle is wrong or just not set-up at all.. is it necessary to set-up the base map for cams or could i just modify something in the map i have,or set-up the idle feature in TE i just sent my turbo to blaast to get redone so i want to kind of figure this out before it gets back...


anymore help is still greatly appreciated!!

adjust your idle screw to make it idle higher, but im old school, im sure it has something to do with your decel fuel

i turned up my idle its set to 8-900 so i need to turn fuel down in th map period or is there something specific i should be looking for in the map to do it?

Will probably need to play with timing a bit. Try advancing the dizzy by hand to see if it helps at all with the idle (don't go do a hard ripper with it like that though). If the idle smooths out, then you know you need to add some timing in TE in the bottom rpm's.

800 idle bring it up to 1200. Replace your plugs has Im sure there shoot. Lean out your idle

just replaced the plugs as they were fouled out because te map i have is pig rich at idle,so i turned the fel pressure down from 60psi to 50psi it helped a little but is still rich i will have to go to chris's website and check out witch column s to do with idle fuel more and take it down a notch. and i will take my idle up a bit more,would because my idle is so low thats something else making it die after boost?? to much fuel and too little idle

it purs like a kitten idleing beside being rich at idle. im not sure what the map is set too though as far as timing is concerned... either way you have a pm..
