Default fuel questions..

what is the best setup to run for a 91 si?..I have a t25 with 1g bov, intercooler, and o2 housing. one of my mechanics said the best would be new fuel pump, an adjustable regulator and stock injectos...I think it's gonna run too lean...he says 450's will flood the motor. so what doI do?
Thanks, Tony

Your mechanic doesn't really know what he is talking about. If you leave the stock injectors and crank the fuel pressure up, your idle will go to ---- and it will still lean out after 4-6 psi.

In your case I would go with Ghettodyne and some 450cc injectors.

yes he is correct and incorrect all in the same..
yes 450cc injectors would flood your motor.
but you also have to slow down the puslewidth(length of spray time)
450cc injectors ona car with a puslwidth set for a 240cc is gonna flood.

how much boost?
if only like 6 psi you could get a high flow fuel pump and a FMU which raises fuel pressure as boost psi increases.

or u can get 450cc's and a SAFC and control them that way.

or u can get 450cc's and ghettodyne (MOST ACCURATE), allows u to do custom tuning.
