has anyone
ever thought of making a torque damper for the transmission side using one of these?
I found this on a old bike in the scrap metal bin

I plan to make some brackets and use it on the transmission side, I will post up when I get it done.

without the spring it has no resistance, if it dont work out I will buy a regular torque damper, and mod it to fit the transmission, I ran without my tranny torque mount and it cause my manifold to hit the hood when I launch, the bolts are stipped so I need something that will hold the tranny in place
the engine only goes backwards during acceleration, I dont really need it for reverse,
the only problem if getting mounted out the way of my charge pipe, I dont even have the car with to test it, but I think I can make it work
