i put a 16 valve b7 head on a 8v b8 block and it runs funny, what ECU should i use for this set up?? i have a PO5 and a PO6, next question is, the motor wont rev past 3,500 RPM, it just reaches 3,500 then drops down to about 2,000... and i do have a CEL. dunno the code that its throwing but will try to find out, and is there any home diagnostics i can do

 

did you use the b7 intake mani & tb?
use the P06 ecu if you have it.
count the cel and post it.

 

for the CELs, i get 3 flashes and then 3 more flashes, i belive that means code 33? not too sure but if any one knows what that code means or what the flashes mean then let me know ASAP!! thanks

just look it up it is map sensor

 

means the vacum line on the map sensor is unhooked, hence why it wont rev up and idles funny.....
