noob question bout ebay external wg's

sorry, im lookin but i can't really find the answer sorta...

my question is, i remember there bein an arguement about the ebay wastegates, but what was the outcome again? hotrex was yellin bout how his only crapped out because

? and he said he would use one on his next setup? so may i use one or should i jus dish out the lil xtra cash for a tial... sorry i jus forgot what the outcome was of these ebay wg's.

make sure the spring isnt ofset from the diaphram when you get it... we didnt check my buddies but he's been running his for four months now with no problems

Take it apart when you get it and make sure that you seat the diapragm properly and make sure they gave you the correct spring. I ordered a 6 psi wg and they gave me one with a 12 psi spring in it.

i'd be happy if it had the 12psi spring, but what do you mean by make sure to seat the diaphram? make sure everything inside is basically good?
