does this version of the afc advance the timing like the newer ones? i jus wanna back up uber with this so i can make some slight tweeks in area's cuz i dont have a burner... but i dont wanna do it if its gonna advance the timing...

 

The short answer is yes.
Anything that modifies the MAP signal will alter both fuel and timing.
