just put my motor back in my car and im having a strange problem car will start up and idle for 10-15 seconds then it stalls out
car also stalls out whenever you give it gas

i have gotten the car to stay running and idle for about 20 mins but as soon as i touch the gas pedal she dies out
any ideas?

crome basemap(leaning towards the basemap being too rich and klilling it)

any suggestions

 

il just pmed my tuner to have him send me the bin he put on the chip

 

also sounds like something to do with the injectors, did it ever run smoothly?

 

yea it ran once for about 20 mins and then as soon as i gased it it dies

i have my basemap so if anyone wants to look at it for me that would be great

also the motor is a y8 if that matters

 

you just put the motor in? did you check for proper wiring? you sure you used the MAP plug for the gm 3 bar map? if you mistaken the TPS plug for the MAP that will give you the same symptoms your getting. Just a thought..

 

pretty sure its all wired the correct way my tps sensor reads correctly through the Vafc so im pretty sure there not swithced

 

deja vu. im going through the same ---- right now. I did mess with my injector/fuel rail and it ran pretty good for like 10mins. take a look at the injectors, i wouldnt doubt there being a leak/clogged injector. Let me know if you figure it out!
