For the most part the standard HMT kit differs from the next but how feasible does it sound to fab up some downpipes for the more common kit combinations.

In an EF-
HF mani, BMC/Weir adapter, 14B
HF mani, BMC/Weir adapter, T3 .42/.48
HF mani, BMC/Weir adapter, T25

Most made with 2.5" mild steel and ran back to the stock cat location if desired.

I could probably crank a few of these out with lil effort and test fit on my own CRX. I just saw a few people jumping all over someones unseen downpipe in the classifieds. And even then it just said it was for a certain turbo not the combination of turbo/mani/car model

if peopleare using hf/ adapter plates, they wont pay ---- for a downpipe.

material gets pricey, and your time isnt free.

 

Nobody uses hf manifolds anymore. What you need to do is mig manifolds out of mild. Easy, cheap, sold.

:P well then. Nevermind. Not really gonna toss my hat into the ring with manifold making. Just some thoughts on how to burn time and possibly make a few dollars over the summer.

 

DP fitment is always an issue. Too many variables. Unless you make the manifold and the DP together at one time like Josh does there is really no good way to make one that will definately fit.
