Default B-Series Swap into EG civic HELP!!!

hey guy's I'm swapping my ls/vtec with CABLE transmission into my 94 civic 5spd. I order'd the Cable to Hydro Conversion kit from Avid Mounts which included the Clutch Slave mount bracket as well as a new Billet Aluminum Top Transmission mount. I tried to bolt the mount onto the tranny last night and saw that the mount does not sit flush on the transmission mounting points to bolt it down. 2 of the 3 bolt bolt surfaces are the correct height, however 1 of the bolt surface's is too high by about 1/4 to 3/8. I would just washer the 2 mount points to raise the mount up enough to bolt it evenly but I'm not yet to the point of bolting it in the car, so I'm not sure if raising it up with washer's would miss-align everything. I'd like to get this figured out before I have to let the motor sit on the ground in the engine bay for day's waiting to get it figured out. I called Avid and they said it was the correct mount so...?!?! Any one else have this kind of problem?

nope im a d guy with an ef, but it doesn't seem like its something major. so put some shims on it and try it, if it doesn't work, take the shims out. try it sitting the way it is, all misaligned. if thats the way they sent it to you then maybe its right?

thats weird that it doesnt fit. 1/4 inch is a quite a bit off, hows the angle now with the 2 bolts? possibly grinding off a 1/4 inch of surface from the tranny? take a picture

Make sure the diameter of the holes on the mounts are big enough to go around the base of the studs. I always put three studs on the tranny. On the hasport mount you have to drill out the hole that you usually use a bolt on so it will sit flush.

dude i'm in the process of the exact same swap. It sucks man, get a hydro tranny first off. My avid motor mount didnt fit right either so i used the factory mount. Also, the slave adaptor and all that crap dont work well either. I couldn't get the kit to work at all. Its a piece of ---- kit, avid sucks for making it, and not standing behind their work.
