Default b18 swap into a 93 civic ex coupe

Hey, I've dicked around with my d16z6 and now i got a good credit card so i'm looking at a fully biult b18 block, and also a ported polished b18 head, with the works. Just a few questions. I'm pieceing all this together with t3/t4 turbo plans.

Will the b18 block bolt up to my d16 hydro tranny? or do i need a b18 hydro or cable?

Also what about axles, give me a rundown on what i'll need for my perticular setup.

Anything i need to know about the ecu?

My d16 has 4 motor mounts as opposed to the crx guys with 3 motor mounts, i wont need a motor mount kit will i? mine should work, right?

Alrighty, thanks for all your alls replys and opions, sorry for the grammer errors, i'm high as hell.

Thanks,
Daniel

yes, lets put all that glorious motor on a credit card only to have it repo'd later on.. save with money man!

judging from your post you have no idea what you are getting into, b-18 with d-series cable or hydro? I hope your plastic money has a limit of like 10g's for what you are talking about! you need a b-series HYDRO tranny, ecu. Im not too sure about axles or wiring.

Well, with whatever you decide to do, good luck, you're gunna need it!!

well we did a gsr swap on a 95 si and everyting bolted right on.
No you dont need a motor mount or have any need to covert to a cable tranny as long as you use a 93+ b18. (just use the integra one)
Heres where we went for reaserch
http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/b18cswap/swap.php

And about the ecu as long as you get the harenss and a b18 ecu things should be cool

but just wondering are you planning on an ls, gsr or the shitty ls/vtec

And finally about the out of controll kid with a plasitc, not even gonne coment

shitty ls/vtec? lol

ok, crx's have 4 motor mounts, and 5g+ civics/tegs have 3 motor mounts with 2 other body/engine supports.

swap the entire axle/mount config from the integra over onto the 5g platform and you will be fine.

Use whatever ecu that the engine is designed for... just make sure its the correct obd number.

cuz there's nothing to say, he has no clue what he's getting into, he just wants to slap a card infront of a shop and say do this do that. Since it's his first credit card he's not sure what it's like. He's gunna get raped on interest and what not. All I was trying to say was to atleast save up and spend cash on the swap. I wasnt saying he has no clue about the swap and shouldnt do it. He doesnt need to know anything cuz HES not doing it.

ya'll can suck my dick, who said i wasnt going to do the swap? I can have my d16 out in the floor, infront of my car in 45 min, i've done it, and for ***** and giggles.

I do know what i'm getting into, and know i can do it. I've just had this piece of ---- honda civic for 2 years now in my garage, now my damn girl friend totaled my 94 accord into a tree and sold my 93 celica, now i'm stuck with this slow piece of ----.

An for all the credit card comments, i make about 4k a month, i put everything on my credit card [yes i have 3], pay it all off when the bill comes in, not the min. So ---- off, its a way of building credit, and excellent credit i do have, you ignorant *****.

So i'm not just slapping my credit card on the table of some lame *** import shop and saying do it, i'm not stupid, I do all this for a learning experence.

I'm 19 years old and personally own a 6 bay shop, pit, 3 garage doors, ect. cost me 16k to build it my self, with a lil help of corse, cant pour concrete.

Don't give me ----, i'm more of a sucess than most of you ******* will ever dream to be. Oh yea, i'm a registered business as well, oh and a microsoft certifed systems engineer. I was programming html when i was 12.

yea i'm quite the moron.

Dont bother to help, or respond, i'll figure it out my self, just like i've done everything else in life. I was just trying to piece the swap together piece by piece. I ran into some good deals on a fully biult block, jg pistons, i beam rods, knifed/balenced crank, and also a sweet *** b18 head with the works tit. retainers ferrea valves, double springs, turbo grind cam, ported, polished, matched intake, ect.. I got all this from two different people for under $800. I was just tryin to save money and some dipshit told me i could use my hydro tranny, guess not, sorry. now that the block and head are in the mail, i'll be b18 powered pretty soon. I've also got a garrett t3, front mount custom intercooler, hks bov, non electric dual stage boost controler, external waistgate, ect.. the works, i bought it all for my d16 only thing i need is a b18 manifold, i guess i cant use my d16 cast iron bull ---- i got from revhard. I just changed my mine when i rode in a firends 97 ex with a t3 on it, it was a slow piece of ----, it churned out 13.8s, why would i want to dump all that money into a sohc and run that?

well whatever, i outta here,

Daniel

Oh yea, dont flame me because i didnt spell half the ---- right, it doesnt matter to me, not worth my time and i typed all this in under 2 min.

anyone that was trying to help, the igorant remarks and name calling were not directed to you. I've been bar hopin all night and i'm a lil drunk.

Also thanks for the cspeed link.

oh yea, when i say b18, i mean the b18b

and about the 97 ex running 13.8s, before the comments, yes thats fast for a sohc, but he droped like 10gs on his car to make it look tight and run 13.8s, not what i have in mind.

oh yea, is the t3 too small for the b18b? should i get a t3/t4? i could sell my t3, it wouldnt be a problem

Also anyone know were i can get a tube manifold with a t3 plate for under 300?

And even though my tranny is a hydro, it wont bolt up to the b18b block?

Anyone wanna buy a d16z6 vtec? Its got 68k on the block, ported intake manifold, dac intake, uh yea, thats about it. burns no oil, leakes no oil. Always had lucas motor additive though it. Can provide pics of the motor, as well as the odo stating the milage. Had a new timing belt, and water pump put on about 2 months ago, by me. I can crate and ship. make me a offer. ran a 15.6 with 17s at clay city, have time slip.

Thanks.

Thanks man, Its all on its way, I got an ecu, i solder a socket and chip it. All i need now is the axles and tranny.

I've also got new plug wires, fuel pressure reg, pump, new injectors [dont know if they'l work, they were cheep] front black halo projectors, black clear corners, half red/clear SI tail lights, some swoop type wing, jdm center audio console w/armrest, some gauges and pod that i'll mold in, 4 l7 titanium 12s, 4 xtant x3001s, bunch more stupid *** stuff.

Oh yea, anyone know howto roll my fenders out a lil? I need my 17s to clear a lil better, right now they rub. and the rear adj camber is all outta wack, there tucked right now, and i dont want that. Cant straiten up till i roll the fenders.

Thanks for the help
