guys took apart my throttle body to clean it, and also to hopefuly solve my up/down idle problem, put everything back 2gether, and now the minute you start the damn thing it idles high... I also notice that the green plug on the vtec solenoid is completely broken off, could this also cause the car to idle high?

 

hmm. My d16z6 has the same up and down idle problem, and my gf's teg has the same problem, anyone know what the ---- chould cuase this idle jump up and down

 

before I did what I did, the car started up fine, it just up/down after the engine was warmed up...

 

the up and down surging is from your IACV (Idle Air Control Valve)... just give it a good blast/cleaning with some carb cleaner or whatever you got lying around..

 

did u use a new TB gasket? did u adjust the idle screw?

i bet thats a huge vac leak somewhere.
