Default .63 .60 or .48 .60 on b16?

Pretty much as the topic states, I'm looking for peoples opinions. My car is a daily driver and I'm lookng for a turbo with a reasonable spool time and that will pull to 8k or just under.

Now from what I have read the .48 .60 is what I think would be the best, but I havent been in a turbo B series so. what does everyone else think?

something fun to drive and spool up really fast would be the .48 but you wont have as much top end as you would if it were the .63

personally for a daily driver i would go with the .48......depends on what you really want......a faster spool or a higher top end you make the choice

.48/.60 is a really good turbo for a daily driven stock B16A. Pulls good all the way to redline. I am selling my b series turbo kit for my CRX with that turbo if you are interested.

.48 = great spool up time (3000 to 4000)...quick...will fall off around 7000-7500 rpm depending on mani/exhaust
.63 = slower spool (4000 to 5000)...will dump HARD when it spools up and will pull all the way up, you'll just have wait a little longer...

BTW, the horsepower a turbo can create is based on the COMPRESSOR wheel, not the exhaust wheel
keep this in mind if you want to go to higher power levels later on...

The choice is yours..please search around, this has been covered many many times...

I'd say a 63/60. I personally prefer lag, boost hits much harder.

actually the .63 exhaust flows more so you will most definently make more power with it. I have one on my accord and love it, the lag difference is worth it, big top end

for suer the 60/63. but honestly it depends on what you can get your hands on for what price.

but like already mentioned you will have more breath up top with the 63. i will be runnin that turbo on my y7 soon.

who cares if it spools late, it will save gas daily driving, then when you wanna race, its fine, cuz you stay in high rpms anyways.
