this is totally incorrect right?

this is right?
detonation = pre combustion, toward the beginning of the combustion. (atleast thats what i know)

i have a EDM civic 1.6 SOHC d16z2 1990 T3, ic, fmu, 12:1, adjustable WG 38mm.

i do not have a knocksensor. but id like to have 1, are there other exchangeable honda knocksensors?
