Default JDM D15 into 98 Civic Si (Canadian Si)

As far as electrical, is there anything that has to be done or is different from the JDM D15B Vtec compared to the D16Y8 that is in the car now?

My D16Y8 is already converted to OBD1 and running on an uberdata P28, so I think that will work great with the JDM D15. But I was curious if the wiring harness will go right in place of the D15, are the sensors on the intake manifold the same (TPS, IAC etc.)? Basically I want to know if there is anything "special" I'll have to do?

Thanks

should mostly fit, you may have to use the y8 alternator tho.

should be a nice replacement.

Yes I've heard I should use the Y8 alternator on the D15 and that I'll have to splice the D15 distributor plug onto the Y8 harness.

Because I need an engine and that's what's available at the moment, thanks for your input though.
