Default Where do you guys launch, with or without traction bars?

My girlfriend's CRX (89 si, 14b, 7psi A6/Z6 mini-me, 1 wire vtec) has HORRIBLE wheel hop at the track, to the point where she couldn't even launch, if was more of a once the tree runs then go, the only place she could launch was at 1,500 RPM and below. So, I said ---- it and put some traction bars on her car, unfortunately she still has shitty street tires on. Neither of us have ever ran a car with traction bars before so we are just looking for some tips now that her car is going to be doing a little better in the traction department. Now my question to everyone else is, at what RPM do you launch? Do you have traction bars? And do you just dump the clutch, or do you feather it off the line?

4000rpm on Azenis with LSD and Traction bars. Not wheel hop with the bars loaded right. A little spin then grab.

I hold the clutch in, Load it a little to take the shock from the drive train (we don't want broken axles!!!) and then full out!

Falken Azenis here too. On street tires I launch at 4800 (using crome pro) load the clutch and a quick let-out with slight feathering for max traction. On slicks I launch off the rev limiter 7500.

Edit: LSD,stage 2 Gator Axles, no traction bars, poly mounts, H&R sports.

poly susp bushings and engine mounts make the biggest improvement.
correct tire pressure is a big factor too

Most people are really surprized to find out what running with less tire pressure will do to their 60ft times

Def check the mounts and the bushings in that area. Loose anything will encourage wheel hop.

I launch at about 5600-5800 on slicks.

at my first time at the track, i didn't know about lowering tire pressure, then someone did to down to 25psi in the fronts (supposed to be 42) and i improved my 60ft by like .5

GSR "Webs" on Yokohoma ES100 front/cheap all season rears, no bars, still NA. 220whp @ 8100 - with lower tire pressure I launch about 2k, with spin for a tenth of a second then grabs. any higher than 2.5k and i just hop around

i also have both torque mounts on the lower part of the motor, which dont help much since those things are what, rubber?

15.3--->14.8 back to back runs from 45psi--->25.5psi. I ran better though too. However, my 60s were 2.777--->2.607 . Do traction bars really help? What about Poly Urthene motor mounts?
