Default Where would you put your IAT sensor?

OBD2 to OBD1 conversion... using the y8 manifold, so I don't have a spot in the manifold (like onyx showed me is how it was done on the z6 motor) for my IAT sensor.
I've got it directly inserted into the intake filter right now, but where would you have put it in the same spot or possibly somewhere else?

Just slightly worried about the IAT falling out of the hole! I'll give it a shot, maybe JB Weld will come in to play again (evil grin)

Why use an intake air temperature sensor? Maybe to keep from throwing codes, and giving the ECU correction? :P
