obd2 to xenocron

Default obd2 to xenocron

ok i want to switch my obd2b to obd1 so if i bought the chipped ecu on xenocrons site with vtec , i would also need a eprom burner and harness right? so i need that ecu ,eprom chip burner,harness can i change out the eproms in that ecu?any thing else i would need ill be running uberdata. thank you

To switch an OBD2 to an OBD1

you would need a:

- harness (OBD2b or OBD2a to OBD1)
- ECU (chipped or stock)

if you get a chipped ECU , yes, you will need a way to burn chips (chip burner)

do u have any ecu's in stock rite now? im going to order a ecu, harness, and the willem burner and some eproms. and do i have to be able to datalog? if i do then im going to order the $305 package jw if u have this stuff i get my paycheck this monday so im going this way instead of afc thanks for your time

And if you are a Y7 OBDII you need to switch to a 2 wire IAC valve setup.

im a d16y8, i read in my haynes manual it sais cars with d16y7 and auto have the rotary iac valve. and the others have linear idle air controle 2 pin connector ..
1.so i wouldnt have to do anything and i can leave this alone right?
2.do i have to change anything else to run obd1 on obd2b except harness
