did the wiring for the p28 and it started right up
runs rough with the boosted H22 .bin thats on the chip in it but i should have my ostrich this week
i did the toggle switch thing with the CEL and i get a solid CEL all the time, does that have something to do with the chip thats in there?
also i couldnt get the datalogging to register anything how do i change which com port it looks for?

i found the box to change the com port, the choices are COM1 COM2 COM3 COM4 i get 2 and 3 arent available and none of the numbers fluctuate when im on 1 or 4
The solid CEL is normal when you aren't throwing any codes. Mine does it too. As long as your CEL doesn't come on when the car is running, then you are code free. When it does pop on, flip the toggle and you'll see it blink out the number. Usually if it's under 10, it will blink them fast, 10 and up it will blink slow for the first number, pause then blink fast for the second. As for the datalogger, I haven't done that yet so i wish you luck with that
the problem solid CEL is the one that occurs when you key on and it primes the fuel pump, and then in normal operation it would go away, but doesn't.
if you dont have any codes and no cel while running, then you close connection on the service connector, and it goes solid, that means no codes.

i get a solid CEL all the time once the key is on car running or not, im wondering if the switch i used is bad, ill replace it and go from there

if you turn the switch on and its just a cel thats normal. if its not blinking then theres no codes. but if the switch is off and the car is running with a cel you either have one of the three **** mentioned
tried turning the speed all the way up on my COM port on the laptop and im still not getting any communication between the ECM and the UBERDATA datalogging
i will hopefully order my OSTRICH soon but im still trying to figure out the datalogging issues
