Well i read this nifty article in the LA Times.... basically stating that in california, especially los angeles and surrounding counties will soon be equipped with smog sniffing sensors located on freeway onramps (if the beurocrats get there way), there gonna be equiped with freakin lasers to detect the amount of HC your car produces, if its too much its gonna snap a picture of your plates and send the info the DMV or whatever and send you a angry letter letting you know your car is a POS...

but thats not the worst of it... apparently in OC they used to do this and then radio the CHP and instead of getting an angry little letter (ive gotten 4 of them) they pull your *** over and check your ----...

Now that really sucks ***... this is just another reason why california is going to hell...

----, MN wouldn't know what to do if you couldn't drive a "winter beater". It's like in the winter, everyone has these buckets with rusted holes all the way through them to drive in the snow/salt. There's no way one of those things would pass a smog test.

I can't stand bullshit laws like that. They'll start out with a "warning letter", and next month your first offense will be $500. ---- Ca.
