ok im just learning about ecu's so bare wuth me:just bought a 95 civic the guy said it has a V TEC ecu but the engine is a d15b7 so i went to check for any codes useing the (paper clip)and i find 2 connecters, one with three sockets and the other with two and also the ecu has a p06 a1 bar code on it??i know the p06 is non V tec right?please help me!!any info is helpful!!

 

Yes, P06 is a non-VTEC ECU.. D15B7 is a non-VTEC motor.. what is the problem?

 

the problem is that there should be only 1 connecter right?if there is 2 where do i jump from?for codes.thanks for quick response

 

also these connecter are blue not gray?the ecu code also has an APX written on it is this right?sorry for my noob questions

 

Look at a service manual for your car.

Hint hint...you can download them from one of the other forums here (Hybrid or FI).

Just jump the two pin connector to check codes.
