EDIT BY MOD: Moving letters/words is gay.

I live in the Seattle Area..(West Seattle)
and i need some one to help me test out my OBD-1 ecu..

IE has OBD1 car(with Vtec) and good running order to prove that ECU works.
becuase i don't know any one that will let me plug my p08 ECU into there harness to test a few minuets of time

ok the engine lite is one but

i was unsure if to trigger the Dianostic mode
i was to ground the lead or just put power to and if so what volt 12volt or less then 12 volt

i left that lead un wired.
thought CEL/MIL engine check lite is wired..
and engine lite is on..
duh!! should check that first.. I guess im just frustrated..jumping before looking..

DR boost Thanx for the BOOST IN CONFIDENCE :P

its helps if i can trigger CEL code.

i bridged C13( or D4)
to C22( or D22 ) which would trip ECU to give Cel Code..

lite is on and stays on.. no blinking.. nothing.. (CRAP!) checked if there was problem with the proper connection to CEL light and that is good.



Tomarrow i will recheck the wires again.. with my check sheet.( which is a blown of version of Mitchell Harness diagram)

oh great... WHAT NEXT. diapers !!

im going add a extra ground lead to the Logic grounds becuase there Obd0 car does not have the same amount of grounds as the obd-1 car. going ad 12AWG split to 2 18AWG


after this i will reverifiy grounds..
at this point no one will get any beer and i will be drunk and stuffed full of pizza weeeeeeeeeee!!!

What would keep the ECU from allowing the Engine to start

udner normal cercomstances

i have found absolutly nothing that would cause the ECU to fail.

and still no CEL's
or able to get cel's

I wonder if this Ecu is Automatic. p08.
any how i will see if there is refrence to control Valve.. and bridge that to ground to get proper circuit
