Uberdata chip question
Was wondering if a bad chip will make your car throw a solid cell. Just got done soldering in everything but i think my chip is fucked cause all my solder points look great, and i still get a solid cell.
Or a backward installed chip.
Or a solder joint that looks good but really sucks - as in you either didn't get enough to fill to the top of the ECU board, or more likely filled too much and jointed two ECU pins together on the topside of the board, where you can't see because the case/socket occlude the view. Take the motherboard out of the ECU casing and peer at it closely from the sides. Maybe my eyes are as degenerated as my shakey hands, but I find one of the battery operated lightup magnifying glasses works AWESOME for this.
