I installed some rx7 injectors with the resistors yesterday and when i was trying to make it idle right i had to take it all the way up to -15

i thought i was supposed to be ok at -40 but i guess not
and from 1000 to about 2000rpm the engine doesnt like to stay at a constant speed

1000 > -15
1500 > -35
2000 > -41
3000 and rest > -42

Jesus, -15 on anything near 450cc injectors is going to be some rich ----.

Ya.. which makes me wonder what size he has.. and if he's doing the flow difference incorrectly.

i got it to -20
its rich but its steady
otherwise it sounds like i have a big cam

 

So basically, instead of fixing what is probably a vacuum leak, you're drowning your cylinders in fuel so it will idle? Hrm..

 

thats how they tune in the land of ghetto.

 

i never thought about a vaccuum leak (maybe from the ghetto modified seals) but my guage reads 25ish vac
its probably cuz the timing is still stock, ill retard it tomorrow
