Default ZC oil pan on a z6?

i'm rushing to get a z6 into my hatch (turbo). i already have my ZC oil pan fitted for the drain line and was wondering if i can just use it instead of drilling and tapping the z6 pan.

i tried and it didn't quite fit. i swapped the oil intake tubes and it's better but i'm not sure it's ok. additionally, i'm wondering if there is much differance in the design of these two pans. the z6 seems a little deeper.

in general, use the pickup tube that came with the pan. ZC pan = ZC tube.

If not you can starve the motor of oil if the tube is too close to the pan floor........
