Default sputtering than boost comes??

hey whats up everyone, well i finally have my 88 civic dx almost done. heres some pics and list of parts im using than ill get to my issues.

1.b18b motor
2.bmc log mani
3.down2turbo t3 60 trim 60/48
4.delta mark 3 wastegate 7psi spring
5.unknown band front mount ic
6.vafc, with dsm (black top) 450's
7.check valves
8. stock pr4 ecu(until i chip if for TE)

ok now with the probs,when i drove the car it sputters in low rpms while partial throttle but if i floor it it will make boost a pull pretty good when i got home i checked my plugs and they were black (rich) i had the vafc set -37 across the board. i didnt really play with it that much becase of tomany peolpe out side. and it idals good but when i rev it up it nutraul to about 4k it has a hard time reving past it wierd. so if u gys have some ideas lmk thanks. -adam-

you don't need the check valves if running the vafc.
p.s. the link for the last pic needs to be fixed.

just ran it without the check valves and it threw map code. :P

and i just noticed that my wastegate is leaking a bit in the back so will that cause my low rpm sputtering ??

the sputtering is fuel/ignition related, guranteed. try taking away a little fuel and see if it feels any better. what about your timing? have you checked it with a timing light?

strange, the vafc should not let the ecu see the boost.
the right wires for the map signal?
and the right map sensor type in the settings?

my car sputtered when i had an fmu (i was told that it threw the ecu in limp mode) i now have t.e. but i think it is def fuel related

yup all wires r hooked up rite and all the right settings also.

take those check valves off! thats whats messing everything up. you're still getting a map code cuz you're so rich. your not scaling the injectors back enough to trick the ecu so its still throwing a code. lean it out some them try again....
