First post, but I've read a lot on here.. so don't hate

Anyway, I've pretty muched decided on the turbo I'm going to use for my setup (a stripped CRX with B18A motor), but I have no idea what car it came from. I have just about every peice of information about the turbo, except it's owner..

T3 Garret - Came from a Volvo supposedly
.43comp/.60 exhaust
Turbo P/N - 465446-9008
Chra P/N - 409853-9008
Model - TB0312

any ideas? Also feel free to give me any tips/critique the turbo, it's the turbo off one of my buddies EF Civic that runs low 12's

 

I did a search but the only car that came up with a TB0312
was 81-82 saab 900's. they have a different turbo part number though, 465514-0003/4 .don't know what differences there are between the two maybe one is oil cool only? I dunno not really much help I guess

 

with a 1.8 you should get something a little different. 42comp/60exhuast won't flow a lot...do you have those reversed possibly? a mustang or xr4ti turbo is a 60comp/63exhaust. what your listing is a small comp with a largish exhaust.

I did type it late at night, and didn't have the exact A/R's in front of me >.<

So would you suggest a beefier turbo then?

Crazy Russian - sounds like a match to me, I found an old article that had the turbo I want to use, and he said it was a Volvo or Saab.
