Im trying to find out who makes the best blockguards. Which maker has the best type that wont overheat and ---- the engine. Which has the coolant passage holes right where they need to be and are big enough? Nuformz? Golden Ealge? Kms? Any info whould be appreactated

Rage.. I have had a Rage in my car for over a year & it hasnt given me any heating issuses... Also my brother has used the same one for 2 years & never had a heating issue

DO NOT USE KMS it is a piece of ----....and it will take them forever to respond i've been calling/e-mailing the for over a week for them to correct there mistake and still no responce

Golden Eagle makes a nice designed guard. Everyone usually copies off someone so the design nowadays are gonna be pretty close. Golden Eagle makes pretty good ---- though so I'd go with them if you decide to.

long story but here it goes: i bought the zc "head package" (i made a post about the product in the gd forum and jeff(abaz) said its probly generic d-series parts and not true zc stuff) the kit was valves,springs,retainers,valve seals,and a block gaurd for $650...so i called and asked if they were true zc parts, the guy said yes they are.

so i bought the kit(he said it was in stock and would be here on the 8th of nov.(about a week)...so the 9th comes around still no info tracking # or package, so i call them and ask when will it be to my place and they said it just went out on the 8th(when i ordered it i told them i need it asap and thats why i made sure they had it in stock before i bought it) so i told them to have the guy call me and explain why it sat there for a week even though i payed for it on the 1st? he never called me....so i think it was the 12th when i got it.

the time comes to install the parts, but the retainers and valve seals where too small...i called them to ask why did i get the wrong size? and they said the i needed the ls(teg) retainers and valve seals, they told me as soon as they got the parts back from me they would send out the right parts(this was during thanksgiving week, so of couse mail would shut down) so i asked if they could send the parts out right away(before my stuff got to them, because i have no use for the wrong parts of course i would send them back) he said sure.

the guy said they where in the mail before thanksgiving(but he wouldnt give me a tracking#) he said he wasnt in his office to give me the # but there were in the mail already(and he would e-mail me the# that night).....well thanksgiving weeking was over so i call him on mon to tell him he never sent the tracking #, he then gives me the#...i go to look up the # and it says the package was just dropped off at his postoffice. I call him back and ask why he just sent the package after he said it was in the mail 5 days before(at 1st he denies sayin that he sent the package...but after a few min. he admits that he said he sent it, but his reason he lied was that i called him at 80pm before (i told him im in ca. and he's in ga. so of course there would be a time difference))

well the parts finally get to me i go to install everything, and i get to the springs and now they dont fit the valve seats (now of course im really pissed) i call and ask for him...he never calls back at all....i left him messages and e-mails several times a day for about a week...and he finally send an e-mail saying that he sent the springs and they are in the mail(this is last wed.) i call back and left another message saying thanks and asking for a trackin# (no response) and i kept doing this everyday......

so today i get a reply via e-mail(he never tries to call now) with a tracking # but it says the package was dropped off yesterday(fri) after it was supposed to be sent out on wed. so im still waiting for my springs....but during this time i try to assemble my block i went to install the block gaurd and of course that doesnt fit.....but by this point im so ------ fed up that i plan on skipping the block gaurd(people say your better off without bg's anyways) and im tired of dealing with this.......after i get all the parts i plan on making a thread about my situation on every website i can think of.

so thats why i say dont ---- with kms (oh and after all this trouble i do a search on ht(i should of done that 1st) and there are a buch of these threads on ht)
