Default oil inlet/outlet question

well my turbo's gonna be just sittin around until spring, so i decided to throw some oil in the center cartrage. i poured it in the outlet cause it was bigger, but no oil came out of the oil outlet on the other side. is this normal, or is somethin fucked up w/ my center cartrage?

If the turbo was going to be sitting for a while, I wouldn't worry about having oil in it. I probably would spray degreaser in there to try to get some of the old oil out of it.

Haha, that reminds me. I was at hotrexs house and I pick up his turbo and start turning the shaft. He flips out and says, "hey, it doesn't have any oil in it" hahahhahaha
