Supra stuff

I found an '89 Toyota Supra 3.0 Turbo at the breakers today, would it be worth me getting the turbo and injectors for my next project (turbo mini me) and will the injectors fit weith out too much trouble, as easy as DSM's?

injectors are side feed so they're worthless for Hondas

i heard it takes those turbos a bit to spool up too. Dont know for sure, my buddy had an 87 MK III, pretty baddass

That would depend on what engine it came with. IIRC, some of the M series engines had top feeds, while the JZ engines I'm pretty sure had side feeds. I don't really know my Supra engines too well, but if you're in North America, chances are that they'll be top feed.

7Ms had top feed 450cc in the USA. get the clips and they fit no prob. low impedance, too. we used them in a budget crvtec/t28 combo that hit 225whp at 8psi. turbo is great for a d-series running a little more than average boost (9-18psi). lag isn't that bad, either.

what trim is that supra turbo? is it like a t3 size?

i think it's like a to4b with a 40-50trim (measured the wheel and it's somewhere between those) can't rememeber the a/r though.

If you're going to grab that turbo make sure and check that there are no cracks in the exhaust housing or around the wastegate(common problem). The CT-26 really isn't good for anything above 15psi.
