Default Co2 cooled charge pipe

I was looking through some old posts and I came across a bunch about spraying Co2 on the intercooler to cool it down. And I came up with an idea instead of spraying the intercooler why not spray a section of charge pipe. I know that if any Co2
gets into the engine it will cause you to go lean. So what if you had a second pipe that goes around the charge pipe so that it is sealed off and won't let any Co2 into the engine bay. Also have a dump tube coming out of it for the condensation routed so that the extra Co2 doesn't get into the engine bay.
Do you think this would work well? Or is it just a half baked idea?

Nope, it's not a bad idea really. I'm 99% sure they already have systems like this though.

You could do it. But you would need an ait jacket around the ube, which would be hard.

I think that you are better off just using a water or nitrous sprayer.

condensation would suck *** on that thing once you cut off the motor. Good luck starting it back up : P.

yep.

it would only cool the littlest bit of air, basically the air touching the metal.

cry02 makes a kit, what it does, you cut out a section of your charge pipe, clamp the cry02 supplied setion in place. it's basically like an air to water ic but instead its c02 to air.

I guess it would only really work if you could have it going along all of the charge pipes. That would be a pain in the *** plus take up too much space.

ghettoturbo has it all figured out. This is also why wrapping the chargepipes is pretty much a waste of time.
