new to this have questions
Hello I've been a fan of this site for a while and just started my own turbo project for starters I have a 93 accord lx with a gude cam, aem cam gear, intake, and cat back, I also work at a shop with a dynapak but I'm the young guy and still learning. I've started my project with a rhb5 I got for $34 at a local junkyard, a saab intercooler I got from a freind free, and I know a guy that will sell me the dsm injectors and his fuel system from his crx cause he's getting hondata for like $170 I was wondering if this is a good buy. Plus I got a lebaron bov for free cause the yard did'nt know what it was I was wondering if it would be better if I got a different one or if this would be adequate. Any sugestions are welcome I also have custom paint ($500) my grandpa has a body shop and I could'nt pass up the price, goldline springs, crx si seats, cross drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads(stock rotors I turned charcol black).
RHb5s are kinda small, try selling it or traind it and upgrading to something bigger, i know this is just your first turbo project, but you might aswell do it farily right. DSM 450s are worth at the most like 60 bucks. get some picks of thise car, it sounds sweet.
I can't remember the name of the fuel system but I know for sure its not a vfc I have never seen it before but it worked for him he brought his project to the shop I work at for his down pipe. If the turbo I have is too small I can get a t3 from a chrysler at the same yard for the same price. But I liked the fact how fast the rhb5 with boost but I was worried about loosing top end.
this link right here has alot of really really great info.

roll the t3, you'll like it. the 2.2 should spool it pretty quickly, if the little d16's can spin em pretty well.
as for the lebaron BOV, not sure if I've really seen one of those in use. Try the junkyard again and see if you can find a dsm bov from an eclipse or talon turbo.
also, if the fuel system includes an AFC and dsm 450's, and the afc is in good shape, I'd say thats a decent deal. Try to get him down to $150 anyways just cause you know he gave himself a little negotiation cushion

BTW, I edited your post. Youll get eaten alive here if you spell vtec that way haha
