Hey guys im gonna post this in the FI and the Hybrid forum for help....Every time i drive my car out of boost...it drives fine, idles run, runs great you know...well if i take it into boost and then when i get to a stop light the car dies. i have to restart the car and this is really getting on my nerves so please help. someone said it might be my iacv but im not sure...

i have no vaccum leaks at all and the car has good compression, so whats up?

maybe ur gettin so much blowby its jus takin a ---- on u for boostin it.

 

nope....engine is rebuilt...chromoly piston rings and all...maybe the rings havent settled yet...ive only put 1100 miles on it and they say the chromoly rings take longer to settle...maybe i should baby it a bit more....plus the oil catch can is dry as a bone.

rings usually set pretty early. maybe ur fmu is garbage... its like getting stuck open under boost then when ur not in boost its still raising the fuel pressure so its getting to much fuel. get an afc or soemthing. or chip ur obd0 ecu with turboedit... its easier then **** for obd0 =x

readjust your idle screw.

saw this on a prelude with a drag turbo kit.

 

Twas the map sensor...bought 8 check valves for $0.59 a piece at the pet store and i dont throw a CEL 3 no more and the car doesnt die...lol...i swear im a dumbass, i never thought about the check valve trick.
