just curious if anyone has used d16a6 si internals on a zc?
i heard that compared to the si piston rod the zc rod is alot smaller?
so has anyone or has it been done?

Well where to start...

You need to go read more... Yeah ZC RODS are going to be smaller than SI PISTONS..but why the ---- would you replace RODS For Pistons? ...since when would you need 2 sest of rods in a motor? wtf mate?

What yoou're talking about is replacing the ZC pistons + rods w/ a6 pistons+rods right?

lets check:

Rods are exactly the same.

pistons will change the conpression rate and it will make it higher than ----. But why the ---- are you going to be putting cast pistons into your motor? buy some ------- real pistons. SI pistons into a ZC motor will yeild like 11:1 cp rate. ---- that for FI.

Buy some forged pistons and eagle/scat/crower/etc rods and do it right.

uhm.. i think YOU need to do some reading.

first off, he said PISTON RODS. i can figure out what he meant.

also, Si pistons in a ZC yeild 7.9:1 CR.

no machining will fit perfect..ZC rod's from 88-91 are the same as SOHC rod's
