P06 question.....

alright, im putting my jdm b16a into my 91 hatch......how good would the P06 ecu work with that, i know that it would not have vtec or a knock sensor.....but what else would i have to do, or worry about

Stock it would run like complete crap. Its meant for a 102 hp motor. Not 160. Also are you converting to obd-1

well all the wiring is obd1, nothing is obd0 in there anymore, so i guess thats not going to work.....----

Plus the fact a P06 is not a VTEC ECU. If you get the P06 just convert it to VTEC and run a different map.

i have a p06 running my b16, you just have to convert it to vtec and then it's the same as a p28. it doesn't have a knock sensor, so you just disable that and run a p30 map.
