Sure you can. As long as you disable the Vtec functions in the P28 map you won't throw any codes. You can also convert the P06 to act as a P28 and control Vtec. That way you can just leave the Vtec functions enabled and not worry about throwing any codes.

Call me stupid, but, why not run a P06 bin in a P06 with P28 maps on it? The maps are at the same location.. very easily copy and pasted from any editor, hell, use WinHex.

I won't call you stupid Jason, I can't round my decimal places as well as you can TurboEF9's way could be done as well, you'll just have to copy/paste the fuel/ign. maps and you won't have to worry about enabling or disabling various sensors. Whatever works for you
