Balancing new internals
Well guy's, I've had my fun on my stock boosted LS engine at 10-11 psi, but it's time for more now. This winter I'll be doing my first serious build since the car's going to be sitting in storage waiting for the nice weather again.
I'm going to be doing forged internals, ne bearings, and I've been fully building a head for it as well
My question is, when it comes time for this little build, should I balance this thing? I've searched and read alot on Honda-Tech about this subject and I've been getting mixed results.
Some say if it's going to be a street car don't bother balancing, others say the rods and pistons come from factory real close to being balanced, other's say balance that bitch. This is mainly just a track/fun car that I use, it's not a daily driver. I'm wanting to hit the 300-350 HP mark, so i'd like to see what everyone's opinion is as far as bulding an engine like this goes.

I had my engine balanced, They balanced the crank...weighed the rods, and pistons... to make sure everything was in order... I just kinda did it for peice of mind.... didnt want something flying off at 8000rpm....
Haha well it really shouldn't be out of balance it's got extremely low miles as it is. So the crank should be in check, I just didn't know if i needed to get the rods and pistons balanced to match the crank or some ----
This was a dilema when I built my motor. I did it just for piece of mind, and it was only $80. The end result? My crank pulley was 1 gram off. For street, you can do without it, but if your gonna spend all kinds of money and you have a little left, I would.

Aha, I think you guy's have convinced me to just get it done for peace of mind. It's pretty bad when the Homemade turbo guy's are spending a few bills to not cut corners and I'm getting the little shortcut answers on Hondatech
