Default dumb question

Can you install new pistons and rods yourself using stock bore with aftermarket pistons and rod? Let's say on a b18.

i would say yes, but i bet they would know better in the hybrid section. you should know this by now.

just get a piston to match your bore and maybe have the cyl. honed to clean things up a bit.

So is it really this easy, can you just take the old ones out, slap the new ones in after honing and everything is dandy. You don't have to do any precise measuring ----?

i would say, if you didnt know the previous question, i wouldnt do it. unless you have a b18 just sitting around and want to make it a project, then dont do it. because most people dont have a daily driver and a fun/fast car, they make their DD their fun/fast car. so what i am trying to say is, if you mess up, then you probably wont have transportation.
