dumb question
Can you install new pistons and rods yourself using stock bore with aftermarket pistons and rod? :-X Let's say on a b18.

Re:dumb question
i would say yes, but i bet they would know better in the hybrid section. ::) you should know this by now.
just get a piston to match your bore and maybe have the cyl. honed to clean things up a bit. |
Re:dumb question
So is it really this easy, can you just take the old ones out, slap the new ones in after honing and everything is dandy. You don't have to do any precise measuring ----?

Re:dumb question
well you should...especially with the bearings

Re:dumb question
i would say, if you didnt know the previous question, i wouldnt do it. unless you have a b18 just sitting around and want to make it a project, then dont do it. because most people dont have a daily driver and a fun/fast car, they make their DD their fun/fast car. so what i am trying to say is, if you mess up, then you probably wont have transportation.
