Default dumb question but help me any way

ok so heres the dealy g/f has 18.t jetta the vdub forum guys are freeking dumb ***'s but thats why they spent 25g on there car that runs 16's any way . they all have there boost gauges hooked up to the vacum lin for the bov (or in vw land dv) and they all go by what they spike at as there boost they thought that was kinda gay too but yea so since there going off there bov vacum is that why its spiking so high they say they run 16psi and spike to 21 22psi or is the whole set up junk. so yea its late im cracked out and just thought i would share and see if thats why there spiking so bad cause i just hook my gauge up to a source right off the mani
