Default Cold idle IAC issues?

Well my car has been boosted for a while and the A/F is worked out and I am pleased with the power outcome. Ever since my Uberdata/OBDI conversion I have had an extremely high cold idle, up to 3k at first. Once it warms up it idles great and runs perfect. Now the question is, does the IAC just open at cold temps? If so I am going to try to restrict air flow in the valve. I took apart an extra Y7 valve on the TB and it looks like it will work. Mine is on my intake because of a Y8 intake swap, but it should work if it only opens at idle. Can anyone give any insight here?
Thanks in advance
Dave

I had the same problem. I think it's an issue with uberdata. Mine idled high when you moved the car when it was cold, and when it started to warm up the idle would bounce up and down, but when it was warm it was no problem.

Well I think I'm going to try to remedy it some how.
