Still got CEL and idling weird...need help ASAP!
So i disconected the SAFC ( old school balck one ) and i ran the car ( by ran i mean let it idle ) to see if the problem persisted and it still does, i get a CEL 16 when i disconnect the AFC, i assume this is due to not having anything to control the injectors. However the Tach is still acting weird. it wil jump all around like its on crack when ever you let off the gas or your in gear and off the gas. it also turns off when your letting off the gas in 2nd gear and when i try to start it with the key its like its been flooded and i have to wait a good 5 - 10 seconds.
Tonight im going to try and run the stock injectors with the FMU and see if it still give me this problem. I even changed the Ignitor in hopes of it being the problem. Maybe its the coil? maybe its the whole distributor? or maybe its my wiring harness?

what injectors are you running again?
you do have a resistor pack correct? I would tackle the code 16 first... make sure you have something to scale those injectors down (afc), since you know it isn't that that is giving you the code. make sure your injector wiring is correct.

i was running the 390's but i wasnt getting a code 16 with the AFC hack. i was getting code 15. im not sure why? i checked everything and still...maybe its the AFC? what car select position should it be at?

you can't just unplug it; you have to reconnect all the cut signal wires to the computer else it won't know what's going on.

code 15 is ignition output signal,you dizzy is fucked which explains your fucked up tach problems. Also why your flooding out, the plugs aren't fireing right to burn off the fuel comming in.

actually my dizzy is fine...i replaced the injectors and ran the stock ones with an FMU and no codes..hmmm WTF is going on here?
i think ill just stick to turbo edit..no cutting wires needed!
