Default MAP Sensor

I tested my map sensor and im getting 5v
I know im only saposed to be getting .5v
this is a second map sensor i have tried. Im still having problems.. I double checked the vafc wireing everything is good.
If my MAP goes bad what readings will i get?

when did you measure it? how did you measure it? what wire did you measure voltage from?

i tested it at operating temp with the car running. i tried all 3 wires got close to the same with all wires.

something is wrong.

should be

1 wire = 5v reference
1 wire = ground
1 wire = signal

There is red,white,green
i ASSUME
red = 5v
white = signal
green = ground

AM i right?

OBD-0

MAP +5v = C15 yel/red
MAP - = C14 grn/wht
MAP Sig = C11 = white

obd-1
MAP +5v = C19 = yel/grn
MAP - = C21 = grn/blu
MAP Sig = C17 = white

you have 3 solid coloured wires? maybe some1 hacked the map wires.

i have solid red,solid green solid white....
remember its a 1990 honda accord....
the motor is out of a 92 prelude..... so the red,green,white is stock accord set up..

doesn't matter if it's solid or not.

white is your signal wire. make sure you use your ground reference with the green wire, otherwise it will just float.
