Default First privately funded spaceflight

I just saw the news and a couple of engineers/wackos have been extensively testing a small spacecraft that has feathered re-entry, they're going to launch a possible spacflight tomorrow and if this works out it's only a few years until we'll be able to take orbital trips of the earth as civilians... pretty bad ***.

If they get this to work I'm saying ---- honda nad cars all together, I'm saving for a damn spacecraft!

I frickin hate space. thats all that it is. I know, everyone always says its all about research. what have we gotten out of space that is worth all of the money that we have spent. billions and billions of dollars. what is really worth all of that money. for sure, not space.

Man, I thought those Mars robots were alot of money... that cost about $850 million (roughly $400 million per spacecraft). But I just recently read about this probe that's flying past Saturn... it's got a mini-nuclear reactor on board... it's cost? About $3 billion.

Compared with that, this privately funded spacecraft is pocket change. Apparently this "white knight" craft only cost about $20 million to develop.

I wish I had 20 million to waste in space
