Ok, my buddy just got a B18B and 3 grand (canadian, so like 10 cents american) to play with.
he wants to BUY a turbo kit, but i said ---- that.
i think he should do 450CC injectors
255lph fuel pump
fuel pressure reg
14b or T25 turbo or T3/4 hybrid
S-AFC
Rev hard (or similar) manifold
and Spearco, or custom made intercooler.
Any suggestions, or should he just buy a kit?...

 

A drag 3 kit would be nice. but why spend US3000+ for a kit if you could go homemade!!!

 

3g's CAD could buy a pretty killer homemade kit. even if it was all new parts, just bought specifically to this persons specs. and fuel mods that don't come with any of the pre fabbed kits, like the safc that you mentioned.

i say, shop around and buy seperately the manifold, external wastegate, turbo, intercooler, bov, and fuel mods. and custom fab the rest to your liking.

buy a stand alone fuel managment system first.

 

get atleast a t3 or t3/t4 or a t4 turbo because those other turbos are small for a b series motor...get something big and beefy...

hey, thats 2005 dollars american. i could make a killer kit with that money. But then again what i think is killer might be crap to you. good luck though. you can make something sick.
