Lets start here. I've read that all 1992 civics have vtec wired to the cabin harness. SO you plug in a 92 - 95 ex si harness and your good to go as for wireing. Well I put the si ex harness on my 92 cx with a LS swap because I have a typeR swap I'm putting on soon . Well I'm currently getting some jacked up ecu codes. I've traded the ecu for another p75 but still get the same BS codes. I'm at work now and forgot what codes were popping. The main issue I was asking isn't it suppose to be plug and play?

 

the codes would be a big help, you could have switched some sensors around, that's pretty common. here's the write up for vtec wiring for a cx.

Yah I know, I'm pretty up to par when it comes to doing these swaps.Its just that I wanted to finally get some stuff started on the forum so I could maybe get some questions out there. I'll get the info from my shop when I get there. Thanks Zack

 

It's hard to say. Although I've only worked on my own honda and I've only has this one, I wouldn't say it's uncommon to throw a code (or 2 or 3) as soon as you start up a swapped motor, even if it is "plug and play." As long as you can wrinkle out the codes you're alright. Just pull the codes and if they don't make sense, post them up and we'll try and help get it straightened out. Good luck.

 

4 wire 02 sensor is missing in the cx cabin wiring. Also posts codes thats why honda designed it

 

i had a similar problem in my vx hatch. it has the 5 wire o2 and a few extra sensors than a reg ex/si.. the sensors and 02 sensor that are different or not used i disabled them in uberdata

 

lazy bastard, why didn't you rewire for a 4 wire o2, it's simple as hell, enjoy your 18mpg b/c you have no 02 sensor :P

 

actually im gettin 26 mpg on this stock ls..

wheres the diagram to rewire it to 4 wire?? ill do this i guess.
