Ghettodyne v1.4 CEL!!!
OK, has anyone done the Ghettodyne ECU mod? If so, I'm getting a CEL about a minute or so after I start up my car. I've burned and reburned the ROM, same effect.
My CEL stays solid, which means there is a program error of some sort. Hrm, is anyone having this problem with the stock Ghettodyne ROM?

I'm having the same issue...had no problems with the 1.3 stock .bin, but the 1.4 one throws a code after about 45 seconds and runs like ***. I've posted at pgmfi.crx-forum.org about this in the Ghettodyne section:

Post here if you get a chance, the author of Ghettodyne is active on this forum and started this post, and there's already someone else reporting the same issue...maybe he'll take notice. -Z

Ya, I haven't heard too much form Mike lately.. He's been shacked up somewhere probably and can't get to a computer.. I was hoping that someone else would know what's going on.
I'm thinking it's a bunk ROM or something.. I can't come up with any other reason.

Turbo EF9 - Using Batronix Eeprommer 3.3, got the kit. I'm thinking it may be a bad rom too, but I didn't know anyone else was having the same problem. Thanks for taking a look at it Mike...very pumped about 1.4, would love to see it work.
As a side note, I know George had developed what he referred to a "crude launch control" a while back that limited RPM's below a certain speed. Is this the same functionality in Ghettodyne 1.4, or is this based on some kind of clutch switch? The only disadvantage I see to the speed based launch control is you can't do a full-throttle shift (safely anyway). Thanks in advance, -Z

I think that it's based off George's code. From what Mike said, it's a speed based limiter.
I'm going to try to talk to Mike tonight and see what it might be.. Maybe get another ROM..
The EcuControl ROM with Launch Control works fine, but you can't tune it in Ghettodyne. It seems to have the exact same rev limit set (Around 3900) as the Ghettodyne ROM has before it pukes the code.
