Default Safc with vtec

Hello i have a d15b7 with a t3 turbo and i running a safc with 450 injectors, i was looking into putting a vtec head on with a turbo cam. Two things could i run the safc or would i need a vafc, and would i have to buy a bigger fuel pump

you can keep the safc but you're not going to be able to tune the v-tec engagement point like you would be able to with the vafc. you'll be ok with the stock fuel pump depending on how many miles are on it. i would go with a 255 pump just to be safe however. you usually only need a stronger pump for fmu set ups but its better safe than sorry and your stocker probably already has over 100,000 miles

well heres the thing you can tuning well with a Safc, but if you have vtec i would definitely use the vafc because then you can control low and high (vtec)cam maps that way, so you would be a better tune for vtec crossover point + also change the vtec crossover if you wanted to, Safc doesn't have the high and low cam feature so you would only be able to tune to a certain extent.
For the fuel pump not totally sure if you have to change it or not, but i guess it would be a little more reiable to change maybe to a 255 walboro, its really up to you...450cc injectors help fuel flow anyways
