** PiC ** PiC ** of my completed custom turbo project
Well, it had been completed, and everything is working A1. The car has been running strong for a week now. I ran a stunning 12,89 1/4 on a gtech pro at about minus 10degrees celcius outside temp, on 14inch winter tires and 94 gas.
Setup specs:
Td04hl modified (don't know what the mods are, but the exhaust inlet is huge)
Mod starion Intercooler
DSM BOV
450cc DSM
SCM+
Custom Manifold
Custom downpipe
Just to mention, that I made this turbo setup while having zero experience in welding
Hope you can see the pics.

Ya, the intercooler does look a bit low. A little to close to a curb and it's crunch!
Otherwise, the setup looks kick ***! I especially like your piping coming from the turbo to the IC, very clean.

ya the charge pipes look mint! I would put something on the underside of your bumper to protect your IC even in the mouth on the bumper. Like some gray or black mesh. You dont need a rock hittin your IC
how much matierial did you have to cut off of your butt-weld pipes?
I am making my first manifold right now, and I had to cut a lot off... I was a little surprised, no one had mentioned that before... I had to use a whizzer wheel, it took forever... time to buy a chop saw!

Hi, I have to cut a lot of material out of the butt weld pipes. Don't worry, but just make sure that you don't cut too much so when you stick them together, it is still the same size. You have to know that the tubing are circular, so when you cut at a certain angle, the exposed angle on wich you want the other part to be welded, can be bigger du to the angle cut (this said, if it's 2 inch circonference, when you cut it, it might go to 2.5inch circonference.)
Cheers
Abaz, if you still whant to feature it in the site, let me know what kinda pics you need.!
