Default Hey, few questions on boosting f22b1

Hey guys, was sent here from another message board saying that this is the place to go for awesome help.

I have been doing tons of research and I want to turbo my '94 accord f22b1. I wanted advice from you all here. I want a super clean setup with new parts, or like new parts where possible, and I'm thinking of going custom here are my plans:

14b DSM turbo (oil and water cooled, so no need for turbo timer right?)
440cc DSM injectors
custom mandrel bent IC piping, downpipe and manifold
chipped p28 ecu
BOV, cant decide which though
also cant decide on a FMIC

Plan to boost about 8psi daily. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

sounds like you got if figured out. run about 15psi. That should be fast enough.

run dsm 450 injectors. don't run 440, i don't think there are dsm 440 injectors. your accord use peak and hold injectors. i ran saturated and blew my engine. i was running 9 psi on my 95 accord vtec. this is what i have
-v-afc
-greddy turbo timmer
-turbonetics turbo t3/t4
-turbonetics wastegate
-homemade log mani
-sparco fmic
-hks bov
-dsm 450 blue top injectors
-2 1/4 mandrel bend pipes around around
-2 1/2 down pipe
-trust exhaust from cat back
the car runs pretty good, but i crack my homemade manifold. trying to make a new manifold right now. the car is pretty fast, it would be faster if my car is a stick, damn auto

thanks guys.

Yea I'm working on a 5spd as we speak and after that, I plan on boosting.

So the dsm blue top injectors (450cc) are peak and hold, or saturated?

Also, can you recommend me what are the best gauges to use? thanks again!

I used to have an F22A1. not sure how similar they are.

I used a drag II (for an h23 lude) intercooler and manifold. The manifold had to be modified a tad, but was a pretty good for (on the A1). Glad to see you arent using an FMU. Thats what I had and it ran like crap.

It's very nice seeing someone doing a project on the accord. I also have the f22b1, SOHC VTEC. However I planned to go for H22a then turbo.

btw, I wonder how much can a stock f22b1 make? And if later on you want to upgrade to H22A + turbo, can you use pretty much of the all parts? (beside the manifolds, and piping?

I plan on keeping my f22b1, for its higher compression than the h22 (more boost friendly). If you want to safely and reliably boost an h22 past 6 psi, you'd most likely have to build internals.

AccordFreak's 94 accord on hondasociety.com made around 270whp at 13psi on stock internals I believe.

Then why is the part number B450L? And why does RC Engineering rebuild stock 450's?
